This important antioxidant may help support the immune system, healthy connective tissue and skin and normal levels of glutathione within the body. As an antioxidant, vitamin C may protect cells from the damage caused by free radicals. Free radicals are compounds formed as normal products of metabolism and in response to environmental exposures. We are exposed to free radicals each day in the environment from cigarette smoke, air pollution, and ultraviolet light from the sun. In addition to supporting the body's healthy response to these exposures, the body also needs vitamin C to make collagen, a protein required to help wounds heal.

Optimal Vitamin C Plus features antioxidant- and immune-supportive bioflavonoids quercetin and luteolin. These are naturally occurring bioflavonoids found in citrus fruits. Quercetin is also found in red wine and tea. It is sweetened with monk fruit extract, without fructose or other undesirable sweeteners. When added to water, the powder turns into a delicious fizzy drink, making it easy for kids or others with finicky palates to use.

Suggested Use

Mix one scoop daily in filtered water or beverage of choice, or as directed by your healthcare professional.
