This is the first product to combine the potency of a clinically studied friendly probiotic yeast and probiotic bacteria. Each work quite differently in the body and combined, they provide comprehensive support.
There are two critical functions of a probiotic. The first is competitive exclusion (competing against) of bad and potentially harmful organisms. Antibiotic use, daily stresses, poor diets, chemical and fluoride exposure makes our digestive system susceptible and could establish as chronic imbalance.
RestorFlora is formulated with Bacillus Subtilis HU58 and Bacillus Clausii, which have been shown to be potent competitive exclusion probiotics and widely used for nearly 60 years in the pharmaceutical industry in Europe and in Asia. The second critical function of a probiotic is its ability to colonize the digestive tract and produce favourable immune changes.
Both bacillus species found in RestorFlora have been demonstrated to favour an anti-inflammatory reaction in the digestive tract. Inflammation in the digestive system is at the root of many disorders both systemically and intestinal. RestorFloraTM contains S. boulardii for its popularity in retail probiotic products for its ability to curb digestive issues associated with taking antibiotics. However, a product containing only S. boulardii has limitations with regards to other important probiotic functions as S. boulardii does not colonize in the GI.
